Regenera Clinic Delta

How we calculate your Healthspan

Our method is open. Here's exactly what goes into your number, how it's combined, which instruments we use —with their scientific references— and, above all, what it is not.

Criteria defined by the clinical team at Regenera Clinic, led by Dr. Delia Vilà.

Let's start with what matters

What your Healthspan is (and what it isn't)

Your Healthspan is a 0-to-100 wellness number that summarizes several questionnaires you answer yourself. It's a snapshot of your habits and how you feel, meant to guide you and track your progress over time. Nothing more, nothing less.

To be clear, your Healthspan is not:
  • ✕A diagnosis. It doesn't tell you whether you have a condition, detect one, or predict one.
  • ✕Your biological age. There's no bloodwork or biomarkers inside the number; it doesn't measure cellular aging.
  • ✕A lab measurement. It's calculated from what you report (self-report), not from clinical tests.
  • ✕A medical device. Regenera Clinic Delta is a wellness service; it's not a substitute for medical care.
What it's made of

Six dimensions

Your number rests on six dimensions. Some draw on validated questionnaires and others on the habits you log in the app. Only the ones that have data count: the more you complete, the fuller your portrait.

🌿

Vitality

How you sleep, your everyday symptom load, and your self-reported metabolic profile.

Sleep · PSQISymptoms · MSQMetabolic profile · IOMED
❤️

Psychological

Your perceived stress, your mood, and your anxiety level, as you describe them.

Stress · PSS-10Mood · PHQ-9Anxiety · GAD-7
👟

Movement

How much physical activity you get each week.

Activity · IPAQ-SF
🧭

Mind

The everyday slips you notice day to day. It is not a test for cognitive impairment.

Subjective cognitive function · CFQ
🍎

Nutrition

The quality of the meals you log in "My day". It has no questionnaire: it is a habit dimension computed live from what you record.

How it comes together

The calculation, step by step

Since August 2026 your number is a habit index: it combines what you answer in the questionnaires with what you log every day in the app —your activity, your sleep and the quality of your meals—. It still never uses any physiological signal: heart rate, heart-rate variability (HRV) and blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) never enter the calculation. It's a habit indicator, informational, not a diagnosis.

Each questionnaire produces its score

It's scored using each instrument's published cutoffs (the same ones used in the scientific literature).

The score is mapped onto a 0-to-100 scale

Using bands reviewed by the Regenera Clinic clinical team, so every dimension speaks the same language.

Your activity, sleep and meals score too

If, over the last 14 days, you log data on at least 3 days for a habit, that objective signal replaces the matching questionnaire in its dimension: what you do outranks what you reported weeks ago.

Each dimension blends its active signals

Vitality, for example, weighs the objective habit signal — when there is one — together with the questionnaires you've completed for that dimension. Signals you don't have don't count against you.

Questionnaires lose weight over time

A questionnaire answered 30 days ago or less carries full weight. From there its weight decays linearly up to 90 days, at which point it stops counting altogether. We'll prompt you to refresh it before it expires.

Your Healthspan is the average of your active dimensions, plus your consistency

Every active dimension carries equal weight. On top of that, we add a small consistency bonus: +1 point for every 7 consecutive days of logging, up to a maximum of +5.

The color scale

80–100Excellent
60–79Good
40–59Moderate
20–39Low
0–19Needs care

How much you can trust the number

We always show you the reliability, because it depends on how many dimensions you have active and on how recent your data is:

High4 or more active dimensions, with recent data.
Medium3 active dimensions, or 4 or more with somewhat aged data.
Low1 or 2 dimensions, or mostly expired data. It's a starting point; complete it when you can.
The science behind it

The instruments and their references

We verify every reference one by one against Europe PMC / PubMed. Each link goes to the original article. We're deliberately honest when a questionnaire has no published validation.

Who defines it

People, not an algorithm

Your Healthspan criteria were defined by the clinical team at Regenera Clinic Barcelona, led by Dr. Delia Vilà —founder and medical director, licensed in Medicine and Surgery with a master's in Aesthetic and Longevity Medicine—. We choose what goes in, how it's presented, and where to draw the limits. The decision about your health remains yours and your doctor's.
